Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 23 September 2026

These terms apply to garden buildings and related services supplied by Worcestershire Garden Buildings Ltd. Please read them alongside your quotation and order confirmation, which set out the building, specification, price and work agreed for your order. If we agree something different with you in writing, that agreement will take precedence over the relevant part of these terms.

Quotes and orders

We will confirm the products and services included in your order, their price, and any agreed delivery or installation arrangements. Please check these details and tell us promptly if anything is incorrect.

If a change to your order affects its specification, price or timescale, we will discuss it with you and agree the change before proceeding.

Product specifications and timber

Product descriptions, dimensions and images help you choose a building. The specification agreed for your particular order will be set out in your quotation or order confirmation. We will contact you to discuss any material change that becomes necessary after your order is agreed.

Timber is a natural material. Its colour and grain may vary, and features such as knots, small splits and resin pockets can occur. Timber can also move as conditions change. We will assess any concern about the quality or performance of a building on its individual circumstances. Nothing in this section affects your legal rights if a product is faulty, not as described or not fit for its intended purpose.

Delivery dates

We will provide an estimated delivery or installation date and keep you informed of any significant change. If an event beyond our reasonable control affects the agreed arrangements, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to discuss a revised date. Your legal rights if delivery is delayed remain unaffected.

We will agree delivery arrangements with you in advance. Please make sure someone is available to provide access and receive the building on the agreed day.

Site access and preparation

Please tell us before ordering about anything that could affect access or installation, including narrow passages, steps, height restrictions, steep ground or obstacles. There must be a safe and reasonable route to the installation area, with enough space for the building and its roof overhang.

Unless your quotation includes base preparation, you are responsible for providing a suitable, level concrete or paved base of the size and specification agreed for your building. Base preparation is not included in the listed building price.

Installation is included in the listed price for timber and composite buildings, provided a suitable base and safe access are available. Installation of metal buildings is available at an additional cost, which we will confirm before you place your order.

If our team finds that the base or access is unsuitable, we will explain the issue and discuss the available options with you. Installation may need to be postponed until the issue is resolved. We will explain and agree any reasonable additional storage, delivery or installation costs before carrying out further chargeable work.

Changing or postponing an appointment

If you need to postpone delivery or installation, please give us as much notice as possible, ideally at least 48 hours. We will work with you to arrange another date.

If we attend as agreed but cannot carry out the work because agreed access or site preparations have not been provided, we may ask you to cover reasonable costs directly caused by the wasted visit. We will take reasonable steps to keep those costs down and explain any proposed charge. We will not charge you for a failed visit caused by us.

Cancelling an order

Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel. Your cancellation rights depend on how and where the contract was made and on the products and services ordered. Where a statutory cancellation right applies, we will honour it and provide the required cancellation information when you place your order.

Goods genuinely made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised may be exempt from the usual change-of-mind cancellation right for distance or off-premises purchases. Choosing options from a standard range does not automatically mean that this exemption applies.

If you cancel outside a statutory cancellation period, we will discuss any reasonable costs or losses directly resulting from the cancellation, taking account of work already done and costs we can avoid. This does not affect your rights if we have breached the contract.

Problems with your building or installation

Please tell us as soon as reasonably possible if anything is missing, damaged or does not seem right. Reporting a problem promptly helps us investigate and put it right, but there is no seven-day deadline that removes your legal rights.

Where we are responsible for a problem, we will discuss the appropriate remedy with you. We will carry out installation services with reasonable care and skill. Your rights to a repair, replacement, repeat performance, price reduction or refund, where applicable by law, are unaffected by these terms.

Care and maintenance

Your building may require ongoing care, including treatment of timber and maintenance of coverings, finishes and fittings. We will provide or refer you to the care instructions relevant to your building. Please follow those instructions to help keep it in good condition.

Any additional product or manufacturer warranty will be explained separately. A warranty does not replace or limit your statutory rights.

Damage and liability

We will take reasonable care while delivering and installing your building. If you believe we have damaged your property, please tell us promptly so we can investigate. We do not exclude responsibility for damage caused by our negligence or by a failure to carry out our services with reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts any liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricts your statutory consumer rights.
